As part of the National Youth Saving Challenge, the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) awarded $100 cash prizes to youth through 10 participating credit unions. During Youth Week, 76,524 youth deposited more than $12 million at 400 participating credit unions. Winners were selected randomly and will each receive a $100 prize through the National Youth Saving Challenge.

Washington has started distributing the first wave of 130 million payments. The federal government started the stream on an accelerated schedule below with the first 800,000 consumers just before May 1.
